Susan Bowman

Susan Bowman, Ed.S., LPC is a licensed professional counselor who, at fourteen, ran away from home and battled homelessness. By age nineteen, she was divorced with three children and had to depend on welfare as her only means of financial support. Through perseverance she worked her way out of poverty and through college. She co-authored, Memoir Star, start Telling Your Story with Erika Karres, Ed.D. to help people write down their experiences and life story. The book is a simple step-by-step plan using prompts to guide the reader. Susan is also the author of Breaking Free, the heart-ending journey of a teenage girl on the run.
