Penelope Paik

Penelope Paik, President of Hawaii based, Civility International, is an image consultant who strategizes with her clients to maximize their impact and presence in the marketplace. Her newest endeavor civility—combines her academic background in education and a Masters degree in intercultural/interpersonal communications from the University of Minnesota, along with her corporate work in training and organizational development. Penelope is co-author of the book, The Power of Civility. Her chapter focuses on leadership and civility, since the cost of rudeness in the workplace not only negatively impacts a company’s bottom line, it affects employee retention and succession planning as well. Penelope is a leader in the Association of Image Consultants International where she serves as co-chair of the Civility Counts Project, a global initiative to raise awareness about civility around the world. Penelope is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Junior League of Honolulu, and a former member of the board of HEA.
