Anna Johnson

Anna Johnson currently works on behalf of Project Injini whose mission is to design exceptional learning experiences and assistive applications that improve the lives of children with special needs. She began her career in early childhood education serving as a teacher’s assistant at the prestigious Mills College Children’s School, the oldest laboratory school west of the Mississippi River. After Mills College, she earned her Masters of Science degree in Educational Technology Leadership at California State University East Bay. As a high-tech veteran with over 15 years of experience, she has worked and consulted for organizations like Teach For America, Macromedia (now Adobe), and Peoplesoft (now Oracle) on how to design, implement, and market technology to schools and universities. A proud parent of two Injini beta testers (5-year-old Summer and 1-year-old Pepper), she enjoys playing patty cake, hunting for letterboxes and Saturday movie matinees.
